Marco Meneses 83, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family early Friday March 5, 2010.
Born in Medellin, Colombia to the late Lazaro and Sixta. Marco came to the United States in 1968 and settled in Newark, where he has resided ever since.
Marco was employed by Seregas Sons as an electrician for several years.
Marco is survived by his wife, Martha, to whom he has been happily married to for 57 years, children, Gilberto, Marta, Jorge, Piedad, Diana, Aida, Astrid., and 21 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his children Fernando, Rodrigo, Gabriel, Fabian, Astrid Elena, and Gisela, and grandchild Danny.
Marco was a man who never searched for fortune or fame, but wanted to provide his family with the life they deserved and for them to experience the American dream. He was a kind and gentle man who loved to spend time with his family and friends. Marco will be greatly missed but will never be forgotten.
